This year's France Pavilion (A1021) is jointly presented by the Bureau International de l'Édition Française (BIEF), the French Office in Taipei, and Librairie Le Pigeonnier, continuing to showcase the richness of French literature and publishing culture through diverse themes and formats. The activities include live demonstrations of children's book creation, an introduction to the publishing industry and market, discussions on the potential for academic publishing collaboration between France and Taiwan, insights into the art of translation, and a sharing session on the creative experiences of a resident comic artist. These events emphasize cultural exchange and creative expression.

Through this dynamic program, the France Pavilion combines classic and contemporary cultural elements to offer participants a refreshing literary and artistic experience. Notably, Béatrice Alemagna, a renowned children’s book creator, has been invited by the French Office in Taipei in collaboration with Abula Press, while Christopher Boyd, a comic artist dedicated to visual storytelling, will present unique events. During the book fair, their innovative approaches will provide readers with a one-of-a-kind sensory feast, blending creativity and culture.
