Two Virgins, founded in 2015, is a publisher with the aim of “becoming a small part of your lifestyle.” Through books, we nurture feelings and experiences that can’t be exchanged for goods or money. We are committed to creating something intangible with our books and with boundless curiosity, create encounters that amaze and surprise readers. We do this in the form of books and publish works in many genres such as architecture, city, agriculture, nature, art, sightseeing, cuisine, essay collections, children’s books, and novels. In 2021, we started the comic imprint “Michikusa” with comics serialized online and in print. We license our works overseas and license foreign works for the Japanese market, all the while strengthening product planning and sales.
