Hayakawa Publishing Corporation

Established in 1945, Hayakawa excels in mystery and sci-fi in Japan, publishing works by Agatha Christie, Kazuo Ishiguro, Cixin Liu, and notable Japanese authors. THE GIRL I KILLED by Ryo Hara won the 102nd Naoki Prize. Other hits include GENOCIDAL ORGAN by Project Itoh, made into an anime, and Satoshi Ogawa's LIES AND CANON. Toma Aisaka's SHOOT THE COMRADE won the 2022 Booksellers Award with over 500,000 sales. In 2023, Hayakawa launched 'Hayakawa Sinsho' for non-fiction in science, history, culture, literature.
