《文訊》雜誌致力於文學史料的蒐集、整理及研究，並試圖呈現完整的藝文與出版資訊，報導作家創作與活動。既重視城市文學的繁華典雅，亦從不忽略地方文學的純樸動人。自「財團法人台灣文學發展基金會」成立之後，附屬單位「文藝資料研究及服務中心」，獨立經營、如虎添翼，創發文學推廣的多元可能。如今《文訊》已成為臺灣現代文學重要資料庫、文學愛好者必讀之刊物；「文藝資料研究及服務中心」所在地亦成為重要典藏之一。

WenHsun Magazine is dedicated to the collection, organization, and research of literary historical materials, striving to present comprehensive information on arts, culture, and publishing, and reporting on writers' creations and activities. It values the elegance of urban literature while also cherishing the simplicity and charm of local literature. Since the establishment of the Taiwan Literary Development Foundation, its affiliated unit, the Literary Materials Research and Service Center, has operated independently, significantly enhancing its capabilities and fostering diverse possibilities for literary promotion. Today, Wenxun has become an essential repository for modern Taiwanese literature and a must-read publication for literature enthusiasts. The Literary Materials Research and Service Center has also become a key collection site.
