Frankfurt Publishers Training Program “Editing the Editor” Now Opens for Registration!

Come explore the profession of editing with our expert speakers from Europe, America, and Asia!
Striving to help Taiwan keep up with the pace of the international publishing industry, Taipei International Book Exhibition has cooperated with Frankfurt Academy for the past three years to organize the annual Frankfurt Publishers Training Program. This year, the Frankfurt Publishers Training Program will invite experts from the Chinese-speaking world to join the speaker team for the first time. This will provide not only a broad global vision, but also practical perspectives from local markets. With such a strong team of lecturers, we hope to make the Frankfurt Publishers Training Program a platform for publishing professionals from both the East and the West. In the past years, the role of the editor has changed significantly. The need for increasingly specialized editing services changed the self-concept of editors and digitization turned the whole editing process upside down. There is a huge need to discuss new roles, models, approaches, and ideas for this profession. The Publishers Training Program conducted in cooperation with the Taipei Book Fair Foundation and the Frankfurt Book Fair will address three topics: * The role of the editor nowadays * Hands on beyond traditional editing * International Business
