Cancellation of physical 2021 Taipei International Book Exhibition
Due to the sudden outburst of COVID-19 cases in Taiwan in the last few days, the Ministry of Culture has decided to cancel the physical part of the 2021 Taipei International Book Exhibition. The online exhibition and the professional forums including the Frankfurt Publishers’ Training Program, International Publishing Forum, The Power of Publishing Forum, Book Design Forum, and Children’s Book Forum will be held as scheduled.
Although Taipei Book Fair Foundation has prepared strict precautionary measures and has been looking very much forward to holding the first physical book exhibition in 2021. Unfortunately, following the latest guidelines for large-scale public gathering issued by the Central Epidemic Command Center, the organizer Ministry of Culture decided to call off the physical event to ensure public safety.
Taipei Book Fair Foundation would like to express our gratitude for the continuous support from all publishers, editors, authors, illustrators, and book lovers, and will keep providing further updates.
