*Effective from October 13, 2022, Taiwan will lift the quarantine requirement for all arrivals and require 7-day period of self-initiated epidemic prevention. *Taiwan will resume visa-free entry privileges from September 12, 2022 for travelers from the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Taiwan's 14 diplomatic allies. (European countries included under the policy include the 26 countries of the Schengen Area, as well as the United Kingdom and Ireland.)
*The above measure will further apply to more countries from September 29 (including Japan, Korea, Thaniland and so on) with a variety of duration of stay. Please check the webpage of Ministry of Foreign Affairs for countries included in the program.
